I fell back into an old sin today. I feel terrible about it. I need forgiveness and I've ask the Lord to forgive me but I don't feel forgiven. Church is tomorrow and I don't want to go and face my fellow brothers and sisters who think I'm so good and pure. I feel like a hypocrite. I was being strong not seeing a man who was part of my past and today I was with him and I shouldn't have been. God help me.

Every saint/believer that has ever lived has failed more times than they want to admit but they repent (change direction) of those failures start new with Yahweh.

But some people play games with Yahweh, but Yahweh doesn’t play games.

Have examined yourself to see if you are really saved…

"Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves!" (2 Cor. 13:5). Well, are you in the faith? Have you examined yourself? It is easy to ask and sometimes difficult to answer.

I am definitely saved. I know that as sure as I'm sitting here typing this. Like you said, we all make mistakes and sin everyday but we must confess our sins and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He knows our faults and weaknesses and still loves us. His mercies are new every morning.
