I received this story in a GFA email today, I hope it blesses you as it did me!

Saved from Suicide by a Gospel Tract"
(India - June 13, 2002) Gnanadoss was on his way to the market to buy poison when someone handed him a Gospel tract. What he read and believed changed his life forever.

Once a drug-dealer and gang member, Gnanadoss had been trying to change. He found a job as a bus driver and was doing well until all his important papers were stolen--his drivers documentation, his diploma, and the deed to his land. Without these papers, he would not be able to get a job. As far as he was concerned, his life was over. Planning to commit suicide, a spark of light touched his dark world--someone handed him a Gospel tract. He stopped and read it; and on that day, November 30, l990, he gave his life to Jesus Christ.

His early years as a Christian were spent learning from a local pastor. Then, in 1996, with a wife and two small children, Gnanadoss entered a GFA Bible school to become a minister himself.

After graduation, they moved to a small village in Tamil Nadu, India, and immediately faced difficulties. Their son was unable to walk because his limbs became swollen, and their young daughter suffered electric shock. But God met their needs and assured them of His calling.

His wife says that prayer is the backbone of their ministry. Every day they rise at 5 am to pray together for an hour. Then Gnanadoss spends another two hours in prayer before going out to visit people in the village, praying for their needs and sharing the Gospel. Three nights a week they travel to nearby villages, conducting prayer meetings and children's ministry. Every Friday they fast and pray. Three days a week his wife gathers the women of the church to pray for their village and the surrounding area. On Sundays, 30-50 people gather for worship in their home.

Praise God for this young family in Tamil Nadu, giving their lives among those who have never heard. May God continue to use them to bring light into a dark world.

You have my vote; That is one of my favorite verses, it is so easy to spread the news of the enemy's work; God calls us not to do that but to speak of His Mercy and goodness.

God also calls some to watch and sound the alarm!
[Prayer] time is very short....Jesus is at the door!
I want everyone to draw close to the Lord in these end-times!

Many of us are excited to see prophecy happening all round.

I am sorry if my news head lines bother you,I know its like looking at a bad end time movie! [uhoh] But hey, its really a sign of the times. I am excited to see whats going on in this world we live in! [rotate]

[spiny] I love it, "read the Bible read the headlines same thing" thats a quote from someone else on the board sorry can't remember who right now. [opps]

Why would you think your headlines bother anyone? I am so blessed that you take the time to do this.

I see them as God's news! I tell you I really don't watch the regular news or read the newspaper anymore, because I fell we are not to spread the devil's work and gloat on the raping and robbibg, perversion, stealing and mahem of that sort, but I do listen to what I consider to be Christian news because I too think it is exciting to see Bible prophesy in the making. I think there is a difference in reporting the battles of nations in these endtimes, and those who spend endless hours gloating over the Sodom & Gomorrah kind of new that is out there. (maybe I am wrong, but this is how I feel.) The news on the middle east puts into perspective that this is a war between God and His people and Satan and his deceived.

I feel so blessed to be one of this final generation. I honestly to not expect to die before Christ comes for us.

Keep posting your news! It is a blessing.

And hopefully we will also all keep praising Him. Because He is good every day.

At the time of the wtc ordeal. I was working for United Airlines. There was such sense of panic and unbelief among so many. But therre were a few of us who are Christians, and we had a peace that seemed to some a little strange, but we knew God is in control, and I greived for families who lost loved ones, and that was hard because I talked faily to people who were directly impacted, had personally lost a spouse, son, daughter etc. I understood the pain first hand, yet there was peace in knowing God is in control. I am ready whenever and how ever He chooses to take me home.

I guess my point is people must know what is happening in the middle east, so perhaps they will come to open there eyes and see there is little time! The time is now to repent, and turn from the ways of this world, and too a savior who IS CHRIST THE LORD! So keep posting the news!
