Hi Betty,
I'm very glad that this Christian children's song gave you good memories. That was basically what I was hoping for - for the people here when I posted it.
It's difficult for me to remember when I first heard this song, but I'm pretty sure that it was before I became a Christian.

When I was a little girl and spent the night with my Granny. I would go with her to Sunday School. When the Church service begin, us little kids were led to sit on the floor in front of the altar. The Preacher would tell us a Bible story and then would bow our haeads and sing “Yes, Jesus Loves me” together. Thank you for reminding me of good memories.

Here's a song for those of you who have young children (OR for those of you who still have a child-like love for Jesus).
For some reason, I was thinking of this song the other day, and I pictured myself with the Lord up in Heaven: (kind of like the Apostle Peter): not knowing what to say to the Lord, but wanting to say (that is, to sing) something very simple and also very child-like - before the presence of the Lord Jesus.
Probably you all have heard this song, but here it is once again:

As simple and as child-like as this song is, somehow it seemed appropriate to sing before the presence of the Lord our God.
So I guess that that's why this song has stuck in my mind all of these years.
