Hi everyone,

I would like to share with you an old Irish hymn called "Be Thou My Vision". It's done in the Celtic (that's basically Irish) style, and I find both the music and the words of this hymn to be very beautiful and edifying. This hymn dates (I believe) back to the 16th century - so it's an "oldie but a goodie."

Here is the web link to the hymn:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIMhshpf0Y4

Incidentally, you might be interested in knowing that the word "Celtic" is pronounced [kel-tik].

That's a penny whistle that you hear being played at the beginning of the hymn - which helps to give this particular rendering of the hymn it's "Irish (Celtic) flavor."

I hope that you enjoy this piece of music. . [Smile]
Please let me know if you do, OK?
