America's abortion industry has been exposed. According to an indepth investigation by Life Dynamics Incorporated (LDI), Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation routinely look the other way while grown men continue to take advantage of young girls.
It is the law in all 50 states that abortion providers must report any incidences of suspected adult-child sex to the police. But as LDI discovered, abortion providers look the other way and do not report these incidents over 90% of the time.
According to LDI, it is "simply undeniable that Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation have made a conscious decision to conceal the sexual exploitation of children and protect the men who commit these crimes."
To confirm this, LDI conducted a covert survey, whereby they had a woman portraying a 13-year-old girl impregnated by her 22-year-old boyfriend, call over 800 Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facilities across the nation. She told people at the facilities that she thought she was pregnant, and that she didn't want her parents to find out about her sexual relationship. She never suggested that her parents would abuse her if they found out.
Even though the abortion clinics were required by law to report these incidents to the state, LDI reported that "the overwhelming majority readily agreed to conceal this illegal sexual activity.
"Some employees of these organizations even coached our caller on how to avoid detection, how to circumvent parental involvement laws and what to say or not say when she came to the clinic," the LDI report continued. "In a significant number of instances she was encouraged to lie about—or conceal—her age or her boyfriend's age or to give false names."
In one instance, the caller was advised to use a fake address as a way to hide from her parents, and several times, she was warned that her boyfriend could go to jail, heavily implying that she should not reveal this information.
Bypassing Parental Notification
Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation also took active steps to circumvent parental notification laws, according to LDI. Nearly half of the 50 states have such laws.
In many instances, the caller was actively encouraged to lie about the age of her boyfriend if a judge or anyone else requested it, and was often told she could go to a neighboring state that did not have a parental notification law on the books.
"In other words," LDI president Mark Crutcher commented, “these people were suggesting to a minor girl that she travel outside the state in order to cover-up a crime that was being committed against her."
Sometimes, the caller was encouraged to take a trusted adult to pose as a parent. When she suggested her 50-year-old uncle, "the employee said that would be okay as long as the uncle was instructed to not say anything while at the clinic to indicate he was not really her father," the LDI report added.
"The employee stated that the uncle could even drop by, sign the papers, and leave before she actually came in for the abortion, and that the clinic's notary public would notarize the uncle's signature for the state's required documentation—despite knowing that it was a fraudulent representation." (Emphasis added)
In fact, the caller was told in several cases to "keep her mouth shut" about her age, that they would not check her legal identification for her age, and "accept whatever she told them at face value."
Crutcher commented, "In the final analysis, virtually every Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation facility we contacted was willing to illegally conceal the sexual abuse of this 13-year-old girl."
Aiding and Abetting
Perhaps the most disturbing finding by LDI was the willingness of the abortion industry to openly encourage ongoing statutory rape of the 13-year-old girl by her 22-year-old boyfriend:
"At some point, our caller would raise the possibility that she might not be pregnant and asked whether the clinic would help her get birth control. Over 90 percent…agreed to supply her with birth control and thereby help her conceal this illegal relationship. This offer was made even by people who had earlier in the call correctly identified this situation as sexual abuse or statutory rape.
"In many of these instances," the LDI report continued, "they told our caller that her adult boyfriend could come with her to pick up the birth control, and some even offered to let him pick it up without her."
Crutcher commented, "In other words, even though they had evidence that a sexual crime was being committed against a 13-year-old child, they were not only willing to conspire with the perpetrator to cover it up but they offered to provide him the means by which he could continue the abuse."
Finally, "[T]he attitudes of the employees we talked to made it brutally obvious that this is an issue they deal with routinely. In fact, several of them even volunteered that they get calls like this all the time."
What's Next?
Janet Folger, national director of the CENTER FOR RECLAIMING AMERICA, commented, "Our hats go off to Life Dynamics International, for uncovering the dangerous agenda of the abortion industry. What further proof do we need that Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation never had women’s best interests in mind?"
Folger continued, "Planned Parenthood receives some $60 million in taxpayer dollars every year. It's bad enough that Americans are forced to pay for a procedure they disagree with; but to allow those funds to continue, when there is overwhelming evidence that Planned Parenthood actively encourages the illegal exploitation of young girls, is unthinkable. It is past time for Congress to remove those funds."
