i dunno if u guys know her, but she used to be a member of the refugee all stars and they made all these really good r&b music. she quit that group and was working on her own for a while and she was still doing great... but i just heared on AIR 1 that she finally got out of the mainstream. she went and disappeared to jamaica with her husband for some soul searching and to look for God. she finally found Him and now she quit and i think she's just gonna focus on some gospel music. she was saying that her friends were goofing on her, telling her thats its a career suicide--- but like the DJ quoted--- "whoever who loses his/her life for Me will find it and whoever who looks at the worldly things will loose it..." (i cant quote word for word--- sorry ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) )
i totally commend her!!! i think its great!! but i dont think she shouldve quit though-- we need more people in the mainstream like her to bring the message of God to more people--- people who wouldn't be generally reached.but i still think she's great!!!
