I have noticed a pattern the last ten years. The devil will tempt the children into homosexuality of parents who were taught that homosexuality is a sin.
This is happening in and out of the Church.
I noticed this about ten years ago when in a interview, Cher said she used to believe that being gay was wrong but changed her mine because of her daughter. Soon a group of mothers started an organization of mothers for gay children. Instead of correcting their children they changed their minds and a accepted the gay lifestyle as being correct.
A couple years ago my neice came out gay. At first her mom made it clear she would always love her but she also made it clear it was a sin. Over time instead of my sister-in-law influencing her daughter
of the truth, her daughter has influenced her mom.
Now my sister-in-law believes that as long as her daughter prayers everyday that she can continue in her gay relationship and go to Heaven.
I try to tell my sister in law that she is giving her daughter false self security of Heaven, but she just got angry.
Unfortunately, we now have Pastors who preach from the pulpit that while accepting a homosexual lifestyle is considered second best by God, it will not keep us out of Heaven. It breaks my heart to see how the devil is tricking people right into hell and often using weak Christians as a tool.
