The Companion bible is probably the best study bible out there. It's still the King James Bible with E.W. Bullinger's comments to the side. E.W. Bullinger was a scholar of scholars. If I remember right He was the only one trusted to proof read the old manuscripts from which our King James Bible was translated from. He was a world renown King James Bible scholar. The Greatest teacher was Jesus Christ. Jesus marveled the scholars of his time at the age twelve. He was the living word.
