Another in this fusionjazz/world is in the Celtic range is with Catrin Finch Welsh harpist 'Eternal Dream" and "Crossing the Stone"
and in the Celtic and Gaelic we have Michael Atkinson with an epic album Gaelic Heart which BLOWS me away. I like Enya but her stuff has not changed since she started.

To continue in that thought [ I' supposed to be cleaning house he he he] Another of my favorite singers was Ivan Rebrof a Russian/German Opera and folk singer Basso with a unique range. He is gone now but I used to vocalize with his recordings. Some are on youtube, look for the "Nightingale" or the "Bells" Another favorite whom I knew personally was Church and Concert Organist Virgil Fox, Much of his stuff is on YouTube. Somebody can find The little gig Fugue or "Now Thank we all our God" Virgil was my mother's tutor, organ professor and close friend at Peabody .then family friend until his death.

Music, no matter the genre, has it's proponents and detractors. But each of us has a type of music we do enjoy outside of Christian based music,
I for one am quite eclectic in my musical tastes, from Opera, light opera, Broadway, to various Jazz and uptempo numbers. I grew up with danceband of the 40's primitive rock of the 50's all was good, to hulabaloo of the 60's and so on, Each had its uniqueness.
There are fusion groups and single artists today that fascinate me and some of this music is really good. Arkenstone, Vangelis, Mars Lazar doing interesting projects. I was a real fan, by the way, of Pink Floyd. One jazz artist I like some of is Keiko Matsui, Whispers in the Mirror or a Dance for Maya. { I don't call this New Age at all, but fusion jazz/World, Jazz/Classical.]
