55 And at that moment her life returned, and she immediately stood up! Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat.
Resurrection is a picture of the way Jesus Christ saves lost sinners and raises them from spiritual death (John 5:24; Eph. 2:1-10). When a lost sinner is raised from the dead, you can tell it by his speech, his walk, his appetite, and his “change of clothes” (Col. 3:1ff). You cannot hide life!
