Carol, so far so good. I have been teaching for on and off 30 years. I used to use off the shelf material, but in the last few years I have been writing my own commentaries and lessons. I have my own style and attitude. At some point I will install some manuscripts when I learn how. I figured the pictures but not my own document files yet.

Do I have suggestions? Well, I don't know the people in your class, but I would say anticipate the questions and have some answers ready in case someone asks.
Genesis is a wonderful affirmation of our faith when we know the answers to all the questions it raises, or it can be a stumbling stone to others when we don't know.

The first chapter of Genesis can raise a lot of questions.

I teach a class at the local Senior center, and to start the new year the class wanted to do a chapter by chapter study in Genesis, so starting the 9th of January it should get interesting. I am also in charge of developing a Sunday School program at a Church Plant in this area. So I am going to pick brains here as to subject matter and style of teaching, [lecture or discussion]for mainly seniors but also young couples to start.
