I am complelled to inform the Churches that being called a Christian is not the same as being a members of Body of Christ. How, can we call ourselves Christain and yet hate our brothers. EXAMPLE: The Catholics, Seven Day Advents, Jehovah Witness, and many of the other Denomination for one reason or another don't get alone with one another. Yet, the Body of Christ is not limited to any one denomination, but is rather spreaded out as the Spirit wills to the Churches , and for the Churches to be brought into the unity of one body.

2 Cor. 6:
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

There can be no unity with those who teach another Christ, who follow doctrines of demons, who deny the basic tenants of the Christian faith.

What you bring is a false unity, a false and deceiving spirit, Not the Holy Spirit of God Who brings all truth, and illuminates the Word of God in the minds and hearts of His children.

Col. 2:
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

WHY DO THE LATTER DAY CHRISTAIN ALLOW THE TRADITIONS OF MEN TO BE TAUGHT AND PAGAN HOLIDAYS TO BE CELEBRATED IN THE CHURCHES. EVEN THOSE WHOM ARE WELL SCRIPTED WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE AND HAVE POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY AMONG THE CONGREGATION.

Very interesting that you initially speak of churches coming together regardless of belief and now you speak of and condemn traditions being taught.

The Roman Catholic Church places RCC church tradition on the same level as scripture. Most of the Pagan traditions in today's church come from the Roman Catholic roots.

The Bible is the yardstick of truth. Those who teach contrary to the Word of God are in error and their teachings to be rejected.

Your respond to both questions was correct,nevetheless,we must remember that many of the Churches according to Revelation was found with fault, except two. Which brings me to the conclusion that it's the Churches duty to correct the Churches at fault and help them overcome the deceptions of the devil. Even if its by mean of different branches or should I say Candle Sticks.that must minister to the Saints.

The attempted correction has been going on for the last 2000 years and it is not going to correct the cultic heresy of the JWs, SDAs, Roman Catholics, etc. You can don a prophet's mantle and stand at their doors till the cows come home and you will be rejected and ignored.

Our job is to stand for the faith, teach the basic tenants and let those who have a specific calling to a particular cult, minister in that field.

You made me smile with your answers however, it not that we should be concern about who believe our report, But rather be watchmen, according to the knowledge and measure of faith God have provided us. So that our brothers blood won't be on our hands for just sitting idle.
Most Churches believe that we are in the last days and they know Satan would try and decieve the very Elect if possible. So its not okay to just allow a foot to do the hands job,or to have the/a ear to describe what a/the eye have seen.Again as stated from the beginging The Body of Christ will be the vehicle that God will use to the remove the Spirit of the Anit- Christ from the Churches.( more tobe revealed).

Matthew 13:24 - 30 (NASB)

24Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25“But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26“But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27“The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29“But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30‘Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

The harvest is ripe and the labors are few, in reguards to seperating the wheat from the tares.Know you not that the Seven Golden Candle Sticks stands in the Holy Place and that what is allowed in the Churches today is an abomination to the Lord. Just as it is a group of people that make up the Body of Christ, it is a group of people that makes up the Body of the beast. The Oil is being poured and the Seals are being broken.Yet the Churches is not even trying to remove the idols from the congregation( behind every idol is a demon(s).We all know from scriptures that true men of God was despised and rejected by the masses.We also know that according to the Old Testament that when Israel started removing the idols that God moved in their favor.

Every denomination forbids what it considers to be bad and teaches what it considers to be good and true. But no denomination can force every other denomination to conform to it's beliefs.

There are basic tenants of the Christian faith which unites the Brethren regardless of denomination, and those who teach contrary it marks as counterfeit.

The deity of Christ, true God and true man, is a classic example.

A strong leadership, which teaches contrary to the Word of God, led by doctrine of demons is another, such as the Seventh Day Adventists, and the false teachings inspired by demons, of Ellen G, White.

I agree Caretaker. The Truth stands no matter how many false doctrines rise against Him.

But what I meant was that no one can be forced to accept Truth. Those who believe in false doctrine might be persuaded to see the Truth by the Holy Spirit, but they can't be forced to by other denominations. It is never us who brings people to the Truth, but always His Holy Spirit.

I agree with both opinons. And I know that the Body of Christ is not a denomination. Since Judgement starts at the house of the rigthious, isn't that clear enough that those within there on congragations (and with much knowledge)are reasponsible for rightfully dividing the Word of truth.
Therefore, within your asssembly are you yourselves teaching those things which are contrary to the Word of God. He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother,is in darkness even until now.

It would be much more enlightening if when you quote scripture, if you would list chapter and verse. Bereans want to search out the scriptures if these things be so.

Acts 17:
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

Can you help explain : I Corinthian 12:12-25
Jeremiah 10: 3-5
Ezekiel 8: 9-16
My opinion is that all Latter Day Churches can be called a cult or be accussed of teaching strange doctrine. Even Christ, my Lord was accused of many things, even to be posses with a demon. Yet, he took his message to the synagogue.
Even Nicodemus( well learned and ruler )could not fully understand Jesus statement about being born again.

Even Nicodemus( well learned and ruler )could not fully understand Jesus statement about being born again.

Nicodemus is an example and so is Peter in his denial of Christ and the specific point where Jesus said,"Get behind me satan", when Peter said let it not be.

There is a drastic difference prior to Jesus' crucifixion/resurrection/ascension and after Christ ascended and the Church was indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God, Who brought them all Truth, John 14. Israel was blind and denied Jesus was the Messiah, and it was this rejection which brought salvation to the gentiles. However one day they will recognize Jesus as their Messiah.

With the referenced scriptures you seem to be making three points where you feel the modern Church is in error or gone wrong:

1) The schism in the Body.

2) The celebration of Christmas

3) The celebration of Easter and the practice of sunrise services

1 Cor. 12:
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

Jeremiah 10:
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Ezekial 8:
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

One should note that there were divisions in the Body even under the leadership of the Apostles. It required a Jerusalem conference presided over by James to resolve the Gentile question, of faith and practices.

One should note that it was Paul who revealed the Mystery of the Church, the now indwelling presence of God. It was also Paul who spoke out against the imposing the burden of legalism upon the new Believers.

There are many diverse practices in observing the ordinances of the Church. The breaking of Bread and the Cup of Remembrance, the mode of Baptism, the times and days of worship. However though there be some diversity of practice there is unity of faith among the Brethren, those who truly follow Christ and who stand for the Word of God.

Romans 14:
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

As I have earlier stated there are basic tenants of the Christian faith, such as the Person and work of Christ, the integrity of God's Word, salvation not by any works but by faith alone in Christ alone, which separate the Brethren and reveal the counterfeit who are not our Brethren.

Q&A with McGee
Dr. J. Vernon McGee

Q: Does Jeremiah 10:2-4 Describe the First Christmas Tree?

A: He's not talking about a Christmas tree or decorating a tree at all! He's talking about making an idol and worshiping it, because that was the besetting sin of the nation of Israel. "Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not." The heathen never made a Christmas tree. They carved an idol out of the trunk or a limb and they worshiped it. The druids (which were probably some of our ancestors in England) did worship trees, as did those that were in the forests of Germany. Now if you have a Christmas tree and you fall down before it and worship it, I feel you're wrong to worship a tree. But it's fine if you use it just as a decoration as most people do and for the amusement of the children. I thoroughly agree with Jeremiah in condemning idolatry; I absolutely disagree with cults that misinterpret Scripture.

Q & A with McGee
J. Vernon McGee

Q: What Are the Marks of a False Teacher?

A: “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. … For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:3, 4, 13-15).

What are the marks of a false teacher or prophet? First of all, the man today who denies the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ is in the camp of liberalism, and Paul has labeled him a false prophet. That’s why I’m rather hardboiled on the liberal preacher. You have a perfect right to deny the deity of Christ, but you have no right to claim to be a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ and then deny the very One that you are preaching.

And then “apostle” is a title that doesn’t belong to anybody today, so the minute anyone takes that title you can mark him off your list. The office of the apostles went out a long time ago, after the death of the original apostles and those who saw the living Christ. After that it’s the written record that they gave to us that we are to turn to.

Many Christians today will follow a liberal preacher, a false shepherd. There’s always that danger, and it’s one of the things Paul is warning of. He says the devil makes himself an angel of light. If you could really see him I think you’d see the most beautiful creature you’ve ever seen, and you can be deceived. There are abroad today many men who are handsome, dignified, never say an unkind word, just lovey-dovey all the way through. But they’re apostles of Satan, you see. Nothing in the world but ministers of his. Now that is one group of false teachers, and I think they’re easily detected today.

Now I come to another group, and that is the religious racketeer. I listened to one of them on the radio. Why, he preached the gospel, friends! He even believes in the inerrancy of Scripture. But Paul says beware of those that are taking you away from the simplicity of Christ. Now I detect one little thing in this man’s teaching: It involves the idea of sending you little gadgets and going through all kinds of little performances and rituals. It takes you pretty far from the Word of God. That is taking you away from the simplicity that’s in Christ.

My friend, you and I are lost sinners and we come to Jesus Christ bringing nothing and receiving everything from Him. And if you’re able to give, if you’re able to serve, if you’re able to witness – that all comes from Him. You can’t do anything for Him without being filled by the Holy Spirit. That’s the real test. You see, it’s so easy to get away from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The Spirit of the Lord called for an assmbly of the Body of Christ. And thousands and thousands of christians from all denomination went out to met the Spirit of the Lord by the sea shore. At thier arrival they noticed that the sand was full of thousands and thousand of half dead fishes.
Now, many of the christian started doubting that the Spirit of the Lord had lead them to this sea shore with this awful smell of the fishes and started complaining one to another. Then, out of know where a young man started picking up and throwing some of the half dead fishes back into the waters.
One of the Pastors from the (SDA)churches said,"young man what are you doing." The young man continued throwing half dead fishes back into the water and said nothing.
After about an hour pasted, an Elder from the (JW) Kingdom Halls said with a loud voice,"young man you're waisting your time." Again the young man continued throwing the half dead fishes back into the waters ,saying nothing.
Now several hours had pasted and a Priest from the Roman Catholic Church(es), screamed with a very loud voice, saying," young man it won't make any difference. That's when the young man lifted up one hand, holding one half dead fish in his hand and said to the entire assemble," it will make a difference to this one."
It was then that the Body of Christ recieved its instructions from the Spirit of the Lord. And thousands of thousands of the christian from all denominations joined the young man and thousands of thousands of the half dead fishes was saved. Even so, thousands of thousands of christian from different denominations stayed on the wayside complaining about working side by side with one another.
(In closing): everyone of the men that came to the assembly was called christains,but not everyone of those christian was a member of the Body Of Christ.

A nice little story but irrelevant as those who do not follow Christ are not Christian. Ask a Roman Catholic if they are Christian, they will say, "I'm Catholic". Those of the JW and the LDS
follow false Christs not God manifest in the flesh.

It is the dead that are dying in their denial of Christ and are going to hell.
Not one JW, SDA, LDS can throw one of those "fishes", back, can lead one lost to salvation. The Roman Catholic teaches that grace is only dispensed through the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church, and that each one will pay the penalties for their own sins in Purgatory, so it matters not when they die in denial.

You yourself Ram777 need to come out of Egypt because you are stuck in denial.

Those "fish" that continue to reject the Lord Jesus Christ, that follow the heretics and cults are already dead and bound for hell, UNLESS the Lord opens their hearts to the TRUTH. The TRUTH will never be found in the doctrines and theology of the cults.

Matthew 25:
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

2 John:
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Truly the zeal for the Lord is among men. yet all men stand condemd in absent of God's grace and mercy which triumpth over judgement.
The teachings of Peter is different from that of John and the teachings of Paul is different from that of Peter and John. Shall we condem all John'S followers and/or Peter"s followers because it is not of Paul. If the traditions of men and his doctrine(s) are present in all Churches today, who then can say that they are with out fault before God:(none).
Truly we all stand in Egypt waiting for the deliverer.When the lamb's blood was place on the door post in Eygpt and the death angle passed by them, was it thier obedience or rightiousness that spared thier lives?
I am therefore convinced and presuaded by the Spirit of God, and my Lord Jesus Christ,that out of all whom truly confess and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be Saved regardless of thier denomination.

The Word of God stands, and is unified in the testimony and witness of all the Apostles, whether John, Peter, Paul.

As Brother Peter said of Brother Paul, and he even mentioned you Ram777:

2 Peter 3:
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

There is now no condemnation in those who have received the Lord Jesus, for they have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. If they have followed a false Christ, placed their faith and trust in the false teachings of a heretic, they stand already condemned.

Romans 8:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It was Jerome who said, "To be ignorant of the scriptures is to be ignorant of Christ".

2 Tim. 3:
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Those who are unlearned in the scriptures are vulnerable to false teachers, and can be led into deception by deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.

Those who are unlearned place a greater emphasis upon the experiential and fervent emotion then they do in the Word of God.

Titus 1:
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

H. The Church

We believe the true Church of Jesus Christ had its historical beginning at
Pentecost, that it is composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ, is the body
and bride of our Lord, and is distinct from Israel.

We believe that since there is spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ, it
is our duty to love one another fervently, endeavoring at all times to keep the
unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We believe that the purpose of the church in the world is to glorify God
through worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, observance of the ordinances,
fellowship, the exercise of our gifts and talents, and the proclamation of the
gospel both in our community and throughout the world. Acts 2:1, 41-47;
Romans 12:5; I Corinthians 12:12, 13; I Corinthians 10:32; Ephesians 1:22,
23; 4:3-6; Colossians 1:18; Colossians 3:14-15.

Lets let the Word answer that.

1 Corinthians 1

11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

The preaching of the cross

According to Paul's epistles "we have redemption through His [Christ's] blood" (Eph.1:7), we are "justified by His blood" (Rom.5:9), "reconciled to God by the death of His Son" (Rom.5:10), "made nigh by the blood of Christ" (Eph.2:13), and "made the righteousness of God in Him" because "God hath made Him to be sin for us" (IICor.5:21).

The "covenant" of the Law was abolished by the cross (Col.2:14), the curse of the Law was removed by the cross (Gal.3:13), the "middle wall of partition" was broken down by the cross (Eph.2:14,15), and believers in Christ are "reconciled to God in one body by the cross" (Eph. 2:16). Little wonder Paul calls this message "the preaching of the cross"!

We who believe in the eternal security of the believer, believe that those who have by faith trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are eternally secure and can never lose their salvation. We further believe it is the privilege of all believers to be assured of their salvation; that this assurance rests not in themselves, but in the promises of God; that the
Scriptures teach that such as are truly regenerate, being born of the Spirit,
will not utterly fall away and finally perish, but are kept by the power of God
unto the day of salvation. We also believe that the doctrine of eternal security should lead to a life of love, gratitude and obedience to God.

John 6:39;
39
And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 10:27-29;
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Philippians 1:6;
6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I Peter 1:3-5;
3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I John 2:19;
19
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Romans 11:29.
29
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Being good enough being free from bad habits and bad behavior, earning enough "points" on the ledger of good behavior is not what brings about a new spiritual birth in a person. Salvation is solely a matter of believing in Jesus. The repentance and change of behavior come later as the Holy Spirit prompts it, and also as Holy Spirit helps a person to accomplish it! It is vitally important for you at this point to come to this understanding: Nothing you do apart from believing in Jesus Christ causes you to be saved. When you believe, the Spirit enters into you and causes your old sin nature to be transformed into a new nature that is in the likeness of God. The transformation of your spirit is a sovereign work of God; you cannot do it on your own, achieve it through your will or behavior, force it to happen by any other means than believing.

If you believe that your salvation came about by anything other than simply believing in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross, then you believe that your salvation was in some way related to your own will and to your own works. If you believe that your salvation is related to your will and your works, then you will believe that your will and your works can in some way "undo" or negate your salvation.

On the other hand, if you believe that your salvation was based solely on what Jesus did for you and what the Holy Spirit has done in you, then you believe that your salvation was a sovereign work of God. Your part was simply to believe and receive what God provided and what God promised. The person who believes this must therefore conclude that since he did absolutely nothing to transform his old sin nature into a new spiritual nature, he cannot do anything to cause his new spiritual nature to revert to his old nature.

2 Cor. 1:
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.
24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

2 Cor. 5:
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

Eph. 1:
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

John Gills exposition of 2 Cor. 1:22

John Gill's Exposition of the Bible

2 Corinthians 1:22

Who hath also sealed us?

"Two" things more are here attributed to God; "first", the sealing of his people. The use of seals is various, as to denote property in things, to distinguish one thing from another, to show esteem and affection for persons or things, and for security and protection, and to hide and conceal; all which might be applied to sealing, as expressive of the grace of God to his people, in claiming a property in them, distinguishing them from the rest of the world, setting his affections on them, securing and protecting their persons, and hiding them under the shadow of his wings: but sometimes a seal is used to certify, make sure, or assure the truth of a thing; see (John 3:33) (1 Corinthians 9:3) (Jeremiah 33:10) in which sense the word "sealing" is used here, and intends that assurance which God gives his people of their interest in his love, and the covenant of grace; of their election of God, and redemption by Christ; of their interest in Christ, and union with him; of their justification by him, and adoption through him; of the truth of grace in their hearts, their perseverance in it, and sure and certain enjoyment of eternal glory. The persons thus sealed are not carnal and unconverted persons, only believers in Christ, and these, after they commence such; the seal by which they are sealed, is not any of the ordinances, as circumcision under the Old Testament, or baptism, or the Lord's supper under the New; for these are no seals, nor are they ever so called; but the Spirit of God himself, as the Holy Spirit of promise; for the same who, in the next clause, is called the earnest, is the seal; see (Ephesians 1:13) .

"Secondly", the giving of the earnest of the Spirit:
and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts:
by "the Spirit" is meant, not the gifts and graces of the Spirit merely, but the Spirit of God and Christ himself; who was concerned in the creation of the world, in inditing the Scriptures, in forming and filling the human nature of Christ, and in his resurrection from the dead; he himself is given as an "earnest": the word (arrabwn) , here used, and in (2 Corinthians 5:5) (Ephesians 1:14) is the Hebrew word (Nwbre) , and comes from (bre) , which signifies "to become a surety, to give a pledge"; and is used for a pledge in covenants and bargains, both in Scripture, see (Genesis 38:17,18,20) , and in Jewish writings F4; which is given as an earnest, and in part of what it is a pledge of, and is never returned: the Spirit of God is an earnest or pledge of the heavenly inheritance, which is not only prepared for us, and promised to us, and Christ is in the possession of in our nature, in our room and stead, and as our representative; but the Spirit of God also is sent down "into our hearts" as a pledge of it; where he dwells as in his temple, supplies us with all grace, witnesses to us our sonship, and assures us of the heavenly glory: and as such he is "given"; and an unmerited free grace gift he is; for him to be given in this manner, and for such a purpose, is a wonderful display of the love of the Father, and of the Son, and is a surprising instance of his grace and condescension of the Spirit, and for which we should be abundantly thankful.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Believer has the absolute irrevocable guarantee from God of eternal redemption through the very indwelling presence of God the Holy Spirit. It is our seal that we ARE His for eternity.

Surety:

2 a : a formal engagement (as a pledge) given for the fulfillment of an undertaking : GUARANTEE b : a basis of confidence or security

Main Entry: 3earnest
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English ernes, ernest, from Anglo-French arres, erres, plural of erre earnest, from Latin arra, short for arrabo, from Greek arrhabOn, of Semitic origin; akin to Hebrew 'ErAbhOn pledge
1 : something of value given by a buyer to a seller to bind a bargain
2 : a token of what is to come : PLEDGE

It is within the heart of the Believer that the Holy Spirit produces spiritual fruit, and this fruit is evidence of the sealing of the Believer which has taken place.

A fruit of the Spirit is faith, and it is this faith by which we are saved.

Ephesians 2:
8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Galations 5:
22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23: Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" is saved, those who are saved, our Lord has declared that NONE can pluck them out of the Father's Hand. Those who preach a salvation dependent upon our matinance deny the power of God to Draw us, Seal us, Stablish us, to Maintain us.

1 John 2:
19: They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

There is so much wrong with this post that I can safely say that it serves no other purpose than confusion and self promotion.

"The harvest is ripe and the labors are few, in reguards to seperating the wheat from the tares."

How are the 70 that Christ sent out by twos many moons ago, instructing them not to take purse, nor scrip, nor shoes going to turn into the reapers at end of the world?

This is not Biblically sound!

Luke 10
1 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto THEM, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

Matthew 13

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Each one of your proclamations can be shown forth as personal Hodge-podge .

Hodge-podge is a word used to describe a confused or disorderly mass or collection of things; a "mess" or a "jumble".
