1. Terrorist attack at Itamar
According to Israel radio and other sources, at about 9:20 one or two terrorists infiltraed and took over a house in the Shomron community of Itamar. Three people are reported critically injured. A helecopter has been called in to evacuate the wounded.
At the time of this posting, the shooting is continuing and it is thought that there are still Israelis being held captive by the terrorists in the house.

1. Terrorist attack at Itamar
According to Israel radio and other sources, at about 9:00 one or two terrorists infiltrated and took over a house in the Shomron community of Itamar.
According to reports at 11:00, four people were killed: a man, a woman and 2 children. A 7 year old child was critically wounded and taken to hospital by helicopter. Another person was is suffering from a chest wound and is in critical condition. A soldier was slightly wounded. There are also reports of a fourth person injured. The house is reported to be on fire. According to reports from the scene the fire is spreading and other houses are in danger.
One of the terrorists was reportedly killed. The second terrorist jumped from the window of the house and a gun battle is continuing between soldiers and the terrorist.
Itamar, a community of about 60 families, is very close to Elon Moreh and Shechem. Three weeks ago, terrorists infiltrated the 'Hitzim' yeshiva at Yitzhar and murdered 3 young yeshiva students.
2. Israeli youth from Hebron wounded
A Hebron youth was slightly wounded near Beit Umar, several miles north of Hebron, when Israeli soldiers mistakenly shot at his car. He was hit in the leg, treated at the scene and taken to Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem for further treatment.
