1 John 2:3-6 (NIV)
We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

I believe this means Jesus must be Lord of your life.

Many come to know Jesus as the Way. A few more go on to know Him as the Truth. But very few go on to know Him as their life.

Brings to my mind the Apostle Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 13:5...
Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [ not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected? ![[Bible]](graemlins/bible.gif)
Question can Yeshua/Jesus be Savior and not Lord?

Until Jesus Christ is truly our Lord, we each have goals of our own which we serve. Our faith is real, but it is not yet permanent. And God is never in a hurry.
