Yes, same song, but the arrangement is quite a bit different than the one I have. The CD I have that has this song is done by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.

It doesn't ring a bell, and I did quite a few searches and couldn't find anything. Sorry!

Thank you so much for sharing that. I often find that songs reach me when nothing else will. I heard a song recently that had a chorus that said "I saw His Scars" I have been looking for the words ever since but can't find them. Have you heard of that song? thanks betty

Again, not sure who wrote it:
Peace in the Midst of the Storm
When the world that I've been living in collapses at my feet When my life is shattered and torn Though I'm wind-swept and battered, I can cling to His cross And find peace in the midst of the storm
There is peace in the midst of the storm-tossed life There's an Anchor, there's a rock to build my faith up-on Jesus rides in my vessel so I'll fear no alarm. And he gives me peace in the midst of the storm
When in twenty-four short hours, years of living are brought to moments And when life's final picture is taking form Oh in the dark-room of my suffering there's a light comes shining through And he gives me peace in the midst of the storm
When my body has been broken 'til it's wracked with misery, When the doctors shake their heads and look forlorn Jesus comes to make my bed-side a cathedral of hope and love And brings His peace in the midst of the Storm
