Praise God. It was scary even in Houston during the storm. I thought our walls would collapse the house was making such horrible noises. But, God was merciful.
I pray barrykind gets power soon. I am so thankful for lights and hot baths. Cold showers feel like being stuck with tiny pins.
If you talk to him, let him know we are praying.

barrykind, bbs member 35 is OK from hurricane Ike...
my wife spoke with him and his wife briefly day before yesterday....
Yahweh miraculously took care of their house not 20 feet from their home the water was 6 foot deep over 16th Street...
barry said he was prepared in his heart to come home to destruction because of the pictures he had seen of 16th street but praise be to Yahweh... all was well....
continue to pry for those that were not so fortunate as barry...
there are many that have lost everything and have no insurance or savings to see them through this tragedy ... pray they may find the source of all supply and rest in Him....
