A truly precious testimony and a blessing to our hearts.

Sometimes it can be difficult to turn all of our hearts and lives over to Christ Jesus our Lord. Sometimes we get in the way of God moving. Sometimes we harbor resentments, sin, anger guilt and we may not want to let go and let God.

I don't know for anyone else, but Jesus stands at the door of our hearts and knocks, and if we open the door to Him He will come in, but sometimes we want Him on our terms and not His, we sometimes only hold the door open a wee-little bit.

I believe that the Word declares, "Be still and know that I am God". If we bow down before the Master, open our hearts up totally to Him, He will truly flow through every fibre of our being, heal the deep and fearful wounds and heartaches, fill the empty places with His awesome love, fill our hearts with His peace which passes all human understanding, and His joy will just flood through our very soul. In the words of the praise song:

He touched me, oh He touched me,
And oh the joy that floods my soul,
Something happened and now I know,
He touched me and made me whole..

May God so bless HIs precious children.

The Lord put a song on my heart when I woke up this morning, it was "I Can't Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand)". I was singing it all morning while getting ready, and decided I wanted to hear it. I knew the song was on a CD in my car, so...

I usually listen to talk radio on my way to work. The show I usually listen to is on vacation this week, so I decided I would listen to the CD that has the above listed song on it. I listened to it and was blessed, singing along at the top of my lungs. -

Well, the song was over, and I looked at the CD to see if there was anything else I wanted to hear. Well, "I'll Fly Away" was on there, and was followed by a couple more songs I liked, so I decided to go to that one. The song began to play, and I tried to sing along, but couldn't. The Lord was just blessing me, and my eyes began to swell, as I just focused on the words and tried to sing along, praising God all the way.

So, I have been going through some personal issues in the last couple of weeks, and God was really using these songs to speak to me. The next two were "Friend Of A Wounded Heart" and "Peace In The Midst Of The Storm". You don't have to know these songs, I'm sure you can tell what they are about by the titles. I could no longer say the words, I could only cry. The Lord's presence, comfort, and peace were overwhelming this morning, and I couldn't wait to get to work to share this here. Praise the Lord for His timing and His peace that passeth all understanding!
