Amos was the oldest of the three; all saw the reign of Jeraboam II; Amos was a prophet of Judah, with a message TO the Northern Kingdom 30 years before the fall.

It is possible that all three knew Jonah, and Joel. Some people believe that this is the same plague spoken of by Joel:

Amos 4:9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Joel 1:4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.

Isaiah was Called during Uzziah's reign;the Talmud says that Isaiah was the first cousin of Uzziah, and grandson of Joash and that he was slain by Manasseh. His entire life was lived in witness of Assyrian world dominance. He was a young man of when the Northern kingdom came under the Assyrians in 734 bc; he saw this and the fall of Samaria and the rest of Israel in 721, and even saw them take 46 cities and 200,000 captive in Judah and in 701 bc he saw God answer his prayers and stop them from taking Jerusalem.

Hosea was prophet to the Northern Kingdom during the last 40 years of its exisitance. He is of the Northern Kingdom calling the king "Our" king. He began his ministry under Jeraboam II. I dont know but I imagine that Hosea died either before the taking of the Northern Kingdom or during.

The period when Isaiah and Hosea and Amos preached.

Matthew 1
1The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

2Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

4And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

6And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

7And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

8And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias {Old Testament (OT): Uzziah};

Now follows, brothers and sisters in Christ, the period when the prophet Isaiah and the prophet Hosea and the herdmen Amos all preached together:

Matthew 1
9And Ozias {OT: Uzziah} begat Joatham {OT: Jotham}; and Joatham begat Achaz {OT: Ahaz}; and Achaz begat Ezekias {OT: Hezekiah;

That was the same period as when the prophet Isaiah and Hosea and Amos preached:

Isaiah 1
1The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Hosea 1
1The word of the LORD that came to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

Amos 1
1The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam {II} the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Hosea 1:1 adds the important fact that King Jeroboam II of northern Israel was still alive, which means that the prophet Isaiah and Hosea and Amos preached in the reigns of King Uzziah, King Jotham, King Ahaz and Hezekiah of Judah and also of King Jeroboam II of Israel, so that they preached before 721 B.C. if the year 721 B.C. can be trusted as the date that northern kingdom of Israel was taken captive to Assyria.

In any event, it is important to note that the prophet Isaiah and the prophet Hosea and the reluctant prophet Amos all preached during the reign of King Uzziah of Judah and that that reign also coincided with the reign of King Jeroboam II of Israel.

Matthew 1
10And Ezekias {OT: Hezekiah} begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11And Josias begat Jechonias {OT: Jehoiachin} and his brothers, about the time that they were carried away to Babylon:

Jeremiah 52
31 And it came to pass in the 37th year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the 12th month, in the 25th day of the month, that King Evilmerodach of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of King Jehoiachin of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison.

32And he {king Evilmerodach of Babylon} spoke kindly to him {King Jehoiachin of Judah}, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,

33And he changed his prison garments: and he {King Jehoiachin} did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life.

34And there was a continual diet given to him {to King Jehoaichin} by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.

Matthew 1
12And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias {OT: Jehoiachin} begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

May the LORD God of Israel bless us all on this CBBS, I am BORN AGAIN only by the [Cross] of the Son of God Yahshua-Jesus, of Judah-Israel, born in Bethlehem of Judah, as Micah 5:2 said..
