For every heart that is breaking tonight, oh how He loves to hold you in His arms, every heart that is breaking tonight, for every heart that is breaking tonight..

For the precious fallen daughter, for the devastated mother, for the son who's fallen in a strange new way, for the child that's always hungry, I have a message, He sees you, He knows you, He loves you, Jesus loves you.

He Who rose on the third day from the dead LOVES YOU.

Oh how He loves to hold in His arms those whom He sees, every heart that is breaking tonight....

Oh Jesus save us! By Twila Paris and BORN AGAIN

For every heart that is breaking tonight, the resurrected Jesus loves you and wants to be your exchanged life: He has suffered for your sins so that you will go free.

Save yourselves therefore, my friends.

the Lord may hate the person's actions but not the person.

I feel the Lord loves more than people realize.

You mentioned this as a response to Psalm 11:5

God loves the righteous but despises iniquity (oppressing the widows and the fatherless, taking bribes, bearing false witness, having inequal balances/measures, lying, stealing, and so on).

But it says the Lord hates HIM who does such things, not just the things themselves. So if John 3:16 says God so loved the world and by world you mean everyone, how can he love and hate them at the same time?

What about Psalm 11:5 which says God hates others? How can he love and hate them at the same time?

Psalm 11
5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him who loves violence His soul hates.

God loves the righteous but despises iniquity (oppressing the widows and the fatherless, taking bribes, bearing false witness, having inequal balances/measures, lying, stealing, and so on).

Those who have turned to righteous the LORD loves and helps and encourages; but those who continue in iniquity the LORD resists.

Howbeit, He has provided a way of escape and help through the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the sending of the Holy Spirit.

"If we will turn to the LORD, the LORD will turn to us"

"But if we persist in turning our back to Him, He also will turn His back to us in the day of our calamity".

But overall, God wants to save the world through faith in Jesus, and by this He has shown His love toward ALL:

Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.

Goodwill toward men; but not forever.

Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent.

God bless, [Cross] BORN AGAIN

Psalm 5
5 The foolish shall not stand in Your sight: You hate all workers of iniquity.

I think as an overarching principle, "God so loved the world" and "gave His Son" to deal with the world's problems.

However, within that overarching principle, God hates the iniquity that is done by workers of iniquity and He looks for them to turn from their iniquity unto righteous deeds, through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 5:5 (and others like it) stand as a warning to them, but He loves them to the point of having provided a way of escape for them through Jesus Christ.

But if they refuse to listen and harden their hearts, neither will God regard them either in the day of their calamity.

So I see your point; Jesus loves them, but they will have to do something too, namely turn from their wicked way; otherwise it could be said that God no longer loves them (in the day of the LORD) and my verses of the Topic will become "bohu and tohu" to them.

Jesus is the Son of His father, and His father has said that He loves the world:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 5:20
For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does: and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

Hebrews 4:13
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Proverbs 5:21
For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He ponders all His goings.
