OSLO, Norway – Anders Behring Breivik shed tears as he went on trial Monday for killing 77 people — but not for his victims. The emotional display came when prosecutors showed his anti-Muslim video.

Dressed in a dark suit and sporting a thin beard, Anders defended the July 22 massacre as an act of "self-defense" in his professed civil war, against multiculturalism.
Mr Behrng was gripped by emotion when the prosecution showed his video warning of a Muslim takeover of Europe.
He cringed his face and wiped away tears with trembling hands.
After being uncuffed, he extended his right arm in a defiant salute. He refused to stand when the judges entered the room.
"I don't recognize Norwegian courts because you get your mandate from the Norwegian political parties who support multiculturalism," Breivik said the first time he addressed the court.
Mr Breivik said the attacks were necessary to protect Norway from being taken over by Muslims and that he deliberately targeted the governing Socialist Labor Party, which he claims has betrayed Norway with liberal immigration policies.
"I admit to the acts, but not criminal guilt," he told the court, insisting he had acted in defense of self and Country.
While Norway has a legal principle of preventive self-defense, that doesn't apply to Breivik's case, said Jarl Borgvin Doerre, a professed legal expert who has written a book on the concept. "It is obvious that it has nothing to do with preventive self-defense," Doerre told The Associated Press.
The key issue to be resolved during the trial is Breivik's mental state, which will decide whether he is sent to prison or into psychiatric care.
Mr Breivik will prove he is not insane, by calling right-wing extremists and radical Islamists to testify during the trial, to show his convictions.

I am a soldier in the army of my God. The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Scripture is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire.
I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will not get out, sell out, be talked out or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there. I am a soldier. I am not a baby. I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up, or pepped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me or lure me. I am a soldier. I am not a wimp. I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name and building His kingdom! No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards or candy, or give me handouts. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for or catered to. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.
When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead. I will win. My God has and will continue to supply all of my need. The army of the Lord is an all volunteer force. No one will be drafted, and those who serve will do so eagerly rather than grudgingly. That army will make up "the body of Christ" (1Corinthians 12:25-27). We are to be "a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3-4). We are to "put on the whole armour of God" (Ephesians 6:10-11).
Romans 13:12, "...let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light."
Know your enemy: The "wiles of the devil" is our enemy, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:11-12, 2 Corinthians 10:3). People are not your enemy, we are not to fight against one another. The things of the world are our enemy (James 4:4, Romans 12:2, 1 John 2:15, Luke 16:15).
A good soldier knows his weapon. We are to take the "helmet of salvation" and "the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God"(Ephesians 6:17). When Jesus said, "...I came not to send peace, but a sword " (Matthew 10:34), He didn't mean a literal sword. He came to set men striving for a better world with a soldiers fervor and force of spirit.
Know your weapon: "study to show thyself approved unto God" (2 Timothy 2:15). Know your weapon: we are to "search the scriptures"(Acts 17:11, Luke 16:29, Isaiah 8:20; 34:16), and compare scripture with scripture (Isaiah 28:10) to come to the Truth. "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God" (2 Corinthians 10:4). "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him" (Proverbs 30:5, Ephesians 6:16). We are to put on the "breastplate of righteousness" (Ephesians 6:14), and our "feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace" (Ephesians 6:15).
A good soldier stays in step. We are to walk in the "same steps as Christ" (2 Corinthians 12:18, 1 Peter 2:21). And most important, our secret weapon: we are to be "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit" (Ephesians 6:18), so that you may "open your mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel" (Ephesians 6:19). "We are more than conquerors through him that loved us"(Romans 8:37). We are "fellowsoldiers" (Philippians 2:25, Philemon 1:2).
